Our training objective is to assist you to cultivate the skills to communicate with your dog in a method that doesn’t intrude upon his pride. The result will be a shared, enjoyable relationship. We will teach you to use the blend of constructive reinforcement, motivation and correction approaches to connect with your canine friend.
A well-mannered dog doesn’t instantly happen with a few classes. It takes continued training, effort, and consistency on your part long after your classes are done. Huntingdon Hounds will use a combination of treat training and praise training, with the goal of weaning out treats all together, to obtain positive results for you and your furry family.
Susanne
Susanne has always loved all types of animals since the moment she could walk. She has many accomplishments in her life. While raising four children she hones her equestrian skills along with running the family construction business, showing her American Cockers Spaniels and finding her niche in dog grooming.
Susanne has advanced her education in numerous areas, from equine level one coaching to dog grooming certification and First Aid, and also many equine clinics, such as nutrition to breeding and everything in between.
Susanne has also devoted many hours volunteering at organizations such as the SPCA and the Langley Animal Protection Society which has led her to her this stage in her life.
All of Susanne’s education and experience has opened up a wealth of knowledge and growth in dog training and obedience. Susanne has dedicated the majority of her life to the nurturing and caring for animals of all shapes and sizes – she couldn’t be more delighted and enthusiastic to continue forward working and helping animals of all kinds, chiefly your special furry family member at Huntingdon Hounds.
